does anyone have any knowledge of the Bridges family of Worcestershire. Walyer& Alice had 10 children. edith, fanny, harry, alice, annie, amy, pat, frank, nell, and jess. Frank(francis) was killed at the Somme. Jess(jessie richardson)
wrote a short history of the family life. It was called . My Book, Memories of Life in Rural Worcestershire at the turn of the Centuary, by Jessie Brydges. Jessie was my husbands G/aunt.
I would like to make contact with any descendant of the family. Yes the surname is often spelled with an (i) or (y) . Harry(henry) came to australia in 1912, leaving behind the rest of the family, he maintained contact and also visited in the late 60's but after his death contact was lost. Hope this can reestablish contact. Cheers
