Iam looking for information on my Scottish anscestors: Hugh Ross born in Logie Easter, Ross & Cromarty 1818, married to Catherine Campbell born in Ross & Cromarty 1838. They had 6 children: William born 26 Feb.1859, Robert born 1861, John born 1863, Hugh born 1865, Annabella 1867, Catherine born 1869 (all in Kilmuir Easter, Ross & Cromarty.
William moved to Newcastle-on-Tyne,England, he was a baker and married Ann Jefferson Wallace on 27th May 1882 in St.Johns Church, Percy Main. They had 6 Children - John in 1883 (my grandfather), Adeline(Lena)1885,Harry 1888, William 1890, Hugh 1897 and Catherine(Cathy) in 1899. . |
