I am searching for my gr-gr-grandfather, John Robinson. He married a Margaret (or Mary) Preston. My great grandfather, William James, was born to them about 1838. William came to St. Louis, Missouri, USA and married a Julia Ann Lockett in 1859. Have been unable to trace where in England they came from. The Lockett family came from Burslem, Staffordshire, England. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
