| My father gives his name as Chelmer John Gray or Charles Joseph Gray DOB as 21st January 1896, Dumbarden, Scotland and father as Chelmer John Gray, Gentleman, Mother as Grace Anstry. All efforts to trace them have failed. Dad served with the Black Watch from 1916 to 1919 WW1 and was wounded in December 1916. !920 onward he appears to have been in Australia but did spent time in Texas as a boy and later went to Canada where he married. His wife from that marriage died on the 5th February 1925. Can anyone assist in tracing my father or his family. |
