Seeking information about a (girl) child born
3 July 1925 in the Runcorn Registration District. Her name, at birth, was JEAN BATE, but she was adopted shortly afterwards. I have no information about her adoptive parents or indeed the new name they undoubtedly gave JEAN BATE.
Do you have a relative (mother, grandmother, aunt, sister) whose birth day was 3 July 1925?
Was she born in / around Runcorn? Did she live in / around Lancashire or Cheshire?
If so, stop and think! Was she adopted? She may not have known she was!
