I am trying to locate the birthplace of my grandfather, Reese (or Rhys) Solomon, who ws born somewhere in Wales on 17 September 1873. I am also interested in where his parents, John Solomon and Ann Jones, originated. My grandfather immigrated to the United States sometime before December, 1892, when he married my grandmother, Mary Jane Jones, In Iowa. She was born on 21 November, 1874 in Llanidloes, Montgomery, Wales, daughter of Evan I Jones and Sarah Jane Owen. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
