I'm looking for my father's family tree - here's what I've got so far:
William & Rebecca (don't know maiden name) Canning of Waterside/Belfast, Ireland
had 5 daughters - (my grandmother is the youngest - Florence Veronica Canning - born 1898)
Older sisters are Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine (don't know name of 5th)
The sisters emigrated to Canada in the 1880s & 1890s. William & Rebecca Canning died in Ireland. Need to find names / info of other sister, and ancestors - can't find any birth, death or marriage records of any of them.

P.S. My dad is in his 80s and I want to knit him an Aran sweater with the pattern of the family name - just can't find out what it is (Canning isn't back far enough). |
