| Does anyone know the whereabouts of Margaret Mackenzie (in the 1950s) who worked and lived at the Shaftesbury Hotel, Monmouth Street, London, WC2, leaving around 1956. Kara Mackenzie (myself) was born to Margaret in 1951 and I am really anxious to locate my natural mother before it is too late. My mother lived briefly at 33 Palliser Roa, Fulham, W14 before residing at the Shaftesbury (now the Radisson Mountbatten) and gave her address as Baron's Court, W14 to the hospital (St Mary Abbot's Hospital) when in the maternity ward. It would appear that Margaret had no living relatives in this country so it was a struggle for her to support me and I was therefore adopted at the age of three. Anyone who recognises Margaret as someone whom they knew at any point, then please, please contact me. Many thanks. |
