My paternal grandfather James Wall (adopted/legal name)came to the United States sometime between 1913-1918. His original family name was Freshwater. When his birth father died, he took his adopted surname from his stepfather.
I beleive he emigrated to the US with a younger sister. He lived in Canada for a time then ultimately settled in the state of Wisconsin sometime between 1925 - 1928. I'm looking for any Freshwater relatives that may know his story.
