| WILLIAM MCGILL, born 1848 in Greenock, Renfrewshire, was my great grandfather. I am hoping someone could look up in the 1851 census or any other list available and find out what his parents names were and if he had any brothers and sisters. I know that sometime between 1851 and 1871 he emigrated to Ontario, Canada, as i have all the info on him over here but nothing on his parents in Scotland. |
