I am trying to help a friend find her birth mother.
Her mothers name was Jean Fyfe Ramage born abt 1926 believe she possibly married a Stephen Barclay. Jean also had a younger brother John. Jean's mother's name was also Jean (nee Mcphail ) Her father was Adam Ramage.Her mother and father divorced and her mother re-married a man Mckinnon where she had 2 boys with him Duncan and Joe.
They were living in Balgair Terrace, Springboig, Glasgow about 1946 as this is the address given on her birth certificate as her mothers address.
but my friend was born on 14th February 1946 at Cater House, St Albans, Hertfordshire. her birth name was Madalaine. She was adopted through the Catholic Church to a family in Camberley in Surrey.
Anyone with any information what so ever i would very much appreciate and would be treated very sensitivly.
