My name is Linda Inez Rodeheaver (born Linda Inez Burch) and I am searching for my mother. Her maiden name was Inez Irene Duff, she was born on 4 May 1937 and married an American Airman, Paul James Burch, on 5 May 1953 in Brixton Hill, London, England. I was born to Inez on 14 Dec 1953, and my sister, Sherry Anne Burch, was born on 15 Jan 1955, both at the 494th USAF Hospital, Ruislip-Northwood, Middlesex, England. My parents divorced and our father took me and my sister to America. I am not quite sure when we left England, I think it was about October 1955. We have never known our mother and would love to make contact with her and/or any of our family in the UK. Our father has not been cooperative in giving us any information about our mother. I have done some research and have obtained a certified copy of an Entry of Marriage which shows that our mother remarried on 3 Nov 1959 to another Yank, Airman Robert Lee Wood, USAF. Their address listed on the Entry is 72 Brixton Winter Lane S.W.2. I have also found that our maternal grandfather was Victor Francis Duff, an electrician, who may have lived at 126 King Charles Road, Surbiton, Surrey, England. That is the address my father listed as my mother's residence on my US Dept of State Report of Birth dated 13 Sept 1955, and I assume that when they separated she moved back to her parent's home.
