| I am trying to locate any siblings that were born to my mother between the years 1945 - 1953. Her name was Mary Margaret Harrison Coutts, born in Lundie,Perthshire,Scotland on 18 December 1932. She left school at 14 years old, and later joined the wrens in 1952, was there for 2 years then she married my father George Harold Stokes in Londonderry Ireland. She had a daughter named Bridget Anne Stokes who was born in Londonderry. Then they moved back to England, unfortunately Bridget died of pneumonia at the age of nine months, when my mother was four months pregnant with me. I am not sure if my father, George Harold Stokes, was aware of any other children born to my mother. But I have been told by different people that this is so. And I would like to make contact with anyone who may be able to give some information. |
