Did you go to Great Stony School in Essex? Some may know it as Hackney Homes.
From 1906 to 1994, disabled or disadvantaged children were sent from London boroughs to Chipping Ongar, Essex to be educated. Arts organisation Theatre Resource and Epping Forest District Museum have been awarded £50,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to explore the experiences and stories of the pupils who attended Great Stony.
