| I would like to contact any of my birth family who were living in Northern Ireland at the time of my birth which was 20th March 1964. My mothers name was May Haire at that time and her date of birth is 24th April 1933. I also have a brother who was born 3rd March 1960 but I am unaware of his name. I have been searching for many years and cannot seem progress any further with my search. I know there must be someone who knows of my mother and brothers whereabouts and their past, maybe my mother married after this and changed her name, maybe someone who used to work with May Haire 1964 when she was pregnant with me or does someone know a male born 3rd March 1960 who is possibly adopted. I now live in Australia, I am married with 5 daughters and I am about to become a grandmother in July of this year. I would like to be able to pass on family information to my girls and my grandchildren, but most of all I would like to make cotact with any of my family. From what I have been told my mother has a sister who was married at the time I was born and would visit me with her husband and my mother when I was in foster care before my adoption in September 1965 by my foster parents who lived in Tennent Street Belfast. She also had a brother who maybe lived in England around this time. My father was in the British Navy and was stationed in Belfast in 1964/65 but the relationship came to an end shortly after my birth. If anyone even knows who my father is or of his whereabouts I would love to hear from you. I would love to know if I have any more brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles or any other family menbers. Even with all of this information I cannot seem to make a connection and as far as I am concered I will never give up looking. |
