I am looking to find my sister; she was adopted at birth in 1969. I have very few real details to work with but the information I do have are both your’s and my original birth certificates. So far Jeanette the closest we have ever been is our birth certificates in a draw together. I know you were born in Abingdon Hospital, Marcham Rd, Abingdon, Oxon on 2/1/1969 to Elaine Amison. Your name at birth was Jeanette Amison. I believe you were taken to Oxford welfare to be fostered for a short while, before being united with your new family, I believe your name was changed to Jacqueline or Jacquelyn some thing and then you went to Newbury but that is where the knowledge goes dead.
I now live in the United States of America so the issues in finding you back in England is a lot more difficult but Jeanette I will never give up on you ….
