I am looking for my friends grandfather, he was possibly called Sid Bennett, he was a publican on stretford road in manchester and was from Hulme. He had a child Joseph Barry Egan on 10/6/40 to Edna Egan and paid maintenance for the child from 1940 - 1955/6 through Sackville Street Manchester, my friend would dearly love to trace her grandfather for her dad, he was never told hardly anything about him.
