I am looking for my father. He departed the family home about 20 years and has not made contact since. My mother passed away 2 years ago, and I have been trying to locate him ever since, to let him know. His name is Joseph (Joe)Hollinshead CARR, and if he is still alive he would be about 75-76 years old. He served in the RAF (Bomber Command - Air Gunner) during the war, and has since served in the Palestine, Malay and Bahrain police forces. He has also had civilian contracts with Costain and other companies. He came from the Byker area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I have tried the Salvation Army and the DSS with no luck.
Any information would be gratefully received, even if he is dead. At least then I could stop wondering...
