I am doing research on the names Amos. This is all I have John Amos (4/19/1886) in Yorkshire, married to Lily Burnside
(5/10/1897 in Barnsley)they were married in Brumwish in 1913.They had a daughter Theresa(1/1/15)in 1920 they came to USA, Pa. then Florida. John's father was John also and his mother was Emily Ledbetter from the Yorkshire area.Lily could have had a brother Edward (ned) Burnside.John died in Jacksonville, Fl.Sept 1950 and Lily in 1966 also in Fl.
My husband is John born Toledo Ohio 11/4/45 and married Diane Boatwright (7/29/50 Jacksonville, Fl.)on 12/7/68.
