HARRY DOUTHWAITE My name is Jacqueline Smith and I have desperately been looking for my 'missing' grandfather for many years. I started this search in hopes of helping my mom find her dad who she never knew. I have had a tremendous amount of help from "Deb at FAMILY CIRCLE" Through Deb I have found details of My grandfathers birth..as follows.... Harry Douthwaite (no middle name) was born OCTOBER 29 1913 at 64 LEWES ROAD < DARLINGTON. His parents were GEORGE DOUTHWAITE and ELEANOR (JORDAN) DOUTHWAITE) My Grandfather was married to AUDREY RAINE on JULY 6 1939 in THE PARISH CHURCH at STOCKTON-ON-TEE'S, COUNTY DURHAM. They divorsed in the mid to late fifties where my grandfather disapeared from us forever. My Grandfather HARRY DOUTHWAITE had three brothers MAURICE DOUTHWAITE (killed in WW2) JACK DOUTHWAITE (murdered) and GEORGE DOUTHWAITE, (still living but has had no contact) If anyone can help me end, or contribute an end to my search, please contact me at jsmith@telusplanet.net Any help would be so greatly appreciated, as it has been a long a frustrating search for us all..Thankyou sincerely for this website and the help and hope it offers..Kindest Regards, Jacqueline Smith
