STEEL...LAIDLY...STEEL...LAIDLEY
I am trying to trace any descendants of WILLIAM FRANCIS STEEL of Westminster who had 2 sons; BENJAMIN STEEL who emigrated to Australia and ROBERT SAMUEL STEEL who emigrated to South Sfrica. Both were jewellers. Robert Samuel Steel was my great grandfather.
Robert Samuel Steel married Charlotte Ann Laidley from Kilkenny, Ireland. Her brother CHARLES LAIDLEY emigrated to the USA.
Any information on family of the above will be greatfully accepted. I can pass on what information I have on the South African descendants. I am now residing in Plymouth UK.
