Hello. Can anyone Help? I am trying to find out if I have any relitaves out there. I was born in The Grantham Workhouse(Maternity) Dec 29th 1931. My mother's name May Robinson, no father's name on birth certificate.My mother resided at 6 School Terrace, Stamford, with a Mrs Elizabeth Dennis. Mrs Dennis died in 1947. According the Electoral Role my mother was living at 6 School Terrace in 1930 and 1932.I understand that in those days one had to be 21yrs to be on the Electoral Roll. It is very possible that my mother would be dead by now, if not she would be very old. it is very likely she got married after giving birth to me.I would be very grateful if some kind person could throw some light on my search, no matter what! Thanks.
