I seek my birth father Leonard " Lynn " Elliott born in Deal on Kent ( I think) on November 6,1917. He served aboard HMS Phoebe circa 1941-44. He was stationed in NYC. He and my mother- helen Adams Frame met and married there.I was born March 8,1943 at St Clare's Hospital in Manhatten. I was nicknamed "widget" I called myself Pooh. He and my mother lived in Richmond, England before their divorce in 1948. I do not wish to disrupt his or any family member's lives but I am in need of a medical history. I would enjoy knowing more about my paternal family heritage. My attempts to locate my father have been frustratingly futile. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
