Search for any relatives of Richard and Mary Simpson of Eamont Bridge, Glendowling House from 1881 cencus. They had 3 sons living with them at that time. Thomas (my gr. grandfather who emigrated to Manitoba Canada) George who was 20 and married Mary Slack in 1882 and Richard who was 14. Richard Simpson passed away March 1894 and Mary went to live in Penrith at 4 Elm Terrace and died April 14, 1915. My grandfather Tommy Simpson spent every other weekend with his father's family during WWI. His father Thomas passed away in 1903. I would really appreciate any help in this. There was also a sister Agnes. This Simpson family had family in Long Marton, Westmorland. Mary Simpson maiden name was Bellasis. George Simpson had his cousin William Bellasis stand up for him. Would like to correspond with any distant family.
