Hi, I'm looking for what could be quite a large extended family in the Bideford/Barnstaple area of North Devon. My father was George Squires and the only sibling of his I knew was his sister Hilda. He and my mother(Betty) split just after the death of my younger sister Carol in (I think) 1948.Having served with the RN Patrol Service in Lowestoft during the war, I believe he joined the merchant Navy when he and mum split. I would dearly love to make contact with any of my family still in Devon (or anywhere!)
