My uncle was Victor Walsh, while in the military (paratrooper)he was sent to England. There he met a woman named Ida Wooden, they were to be married but he was sent to Germany and was killed in the Battle Of The Bulge.
She had a child, also named Victor, and she came to the States and lived with my family for a period of time. I remember him being at my house probably in 1949 or 1950. I was only 3 yrs. at the time. He was a bit older than me.
Ida left with my cousin Victor and we never saw or heard from her again. My mother, Olive Walsh Dowdy, was in the same home till 1976.
I would dearly love to make contact with him but have no idea whether his mother went back to England or stayed in the States. If Victor reads this message, please contact me.
