Hello,
I'm looking for Mother's family. She's been in Canada
for many years now, and has lost touch with all of them.
We were in London in 1963 or 64 and she lost touch a few years
after that. The last address we had was 35 Lansfield Street,
Paddington. My grandmother Bridget McCarthy (deceased) lived there, as
did her son Willy Kiely who had a son Billy as well as other children, at that time.
She also had a brother, Paddy,(unmarried) who was in the merchant marines. Living upstairs
was my Mum's sister, Rita, who was married to John Power.
They had 5 daughters, Maria, Rita, Pauline and twins, Bridget
and Annette. She also had other sisters Katie,(deceased) who
was married to "Fagan" Ryan. They had quite a few children
some of who were, Carole, Tony, Reenie....She also had a sister
Maggie, who was married to Jim Stay (spelling??) they had
one son Jimmy, and lived on Kensall Road back then.Also another
sister, Biddy who was divorced I believe from Tommy Tucker.
She had many children including a son named Albert.
Another sister was Mary, but I don't remember her husband's
name. Iknow she had a son named John. Communication stopped
after the death of my grandmother, and Aunt Katie.
Mum is advancing in age, and talks endlessly of how she
would love to have news on her family. I would love to do
this for her. Can somebody please help??
