I served in the RAF at fazakerley,liverpool in 1940 and
love to hear from Stella Matthews who worked in the naafi
canteen there,and also,Muriel Mooney from liverpool,who i
knew then and met later in bristol 3 years later when i was
on leave,just having completed a tour of ops in egypt as an
airgunner.Muriel had a lovely singing voice,i can still remeber
her rendering of 'il bacio' ah,memories!
