My paternal grandmother Dora Michaelovitch migrated to Leeds, Yorks. with her husband Moishe (Maurice) and their 3 sons David my Dad aged 5 yrs.Sam aged 3 yrs and babe in arms Harry around 1907 from Berdichev, Russian Ukraine. During the following years Maurice departed by sea for USA saying he would send for them. They never heard from him again. There may have been another family name i.e. Maurice Michaelovitch (which means "son of") then another name which seems to have been dropped. Perhaps someone in UK or USA will recognize my grandfather.Perhaps he went through a marriage ceremony with someone in USA. The family is Jewish. Thank you
