I am looking for my older sister, whom I have never met. My sister (half-sister) was adopter/fostered in 1966. At birth her name was Nicola Carole Grantham, and my family believe that Nicola was adopted into a family living in Cuffley, Hertfordshire.
Nicola was born on 3rd October 1966 at the Barnet Martenity Hospital. The family with who she went to live were either "Atkins" or "Atkinson", this was on either the 12th or 13th October 1966. The family may have chosen to change her name at adoption, but due to the adoption law that is information that I cannot have access to under any circumstances.
It would mean more than I can say to both myself and Mum, if I could get in touch with Nicola, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
