Edward Jones (Ted) - I'm searching for any info on my uncle.
He was born c. 1929. Father George Jones Mother Ellen Kirby. Half brothers and sisters Minnie, George, Bill, Nora and Mary. Brothers and sisters Rose, Amy, Ellen (Nelly), Anne, John, Jim and Gladys (my Mum). His mother died in 1932 and he was sent to Warren Farm School with a lot of his siblings. Gladys was brought up by Minnie. Ted was evacuated in the War to Yorkshire, we think he was billeted to a vicarage. After the war we think he went into the Navy. Any info would be lovely. Only 5 sisters remain (all in failing health) and they would appreciate any news.
