I am searching for information on the GIBBONS and MURPHY families.They came to the northeast of England from Ireland.
Thomas Gibbons married Julia Murphy, information on marriage certificate;St Thomas of Canterbury Goole Eng13-6-1910
Thomas Gibbons age 34 occ boilermaker, address George St Sunderland,father Patrick occ labourer.
Julia Murphy age 29 address Sailors Homes Goole,father John occ boilermaker(deceased)
They came to live in Sunderland where they had 2 sons John Thomas and Francis(my father) 1 daughter Maria died at Union St Stockton on Tees age 3 yrs 1918,Thomas died in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, 15-11-1924 address Union St, Julia died 9-2-1928 Union St.The ages on their death records do not match the ages on marriage cert,Thomas death cert age 52, church record 59, Julias age on church record 53.Obviously there has been an error made somewhere.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
