Seeking ANY information/history etc. on my great paternal
grandfather, William WHILES born c. 1850- Leicester, England
When 12 yrs. of age was "boy" on board schooner - Saucy Lass
(age 12). Emigrated (when? ) to Canada. At age 30 and widow- married 1882 to- 18 yr. old Alice Collinson (b. London England)in Toronto. They had one daughter born
March 1883. William died Nov. 1883 from work related accident. Anyone out there help me? Thanks in advance.
