Seeking information/data/history on:
Henry Brotherstone URQUHART. data taken from his son's obituary -Toronto 1918 (son- Henry Peter Weston URQUHART-B.
city of Quebec 1833)was that he came from an old Scottish
family, was "Wigmaker" to King George III and had in their
possession a snuff box presented ? to him by Napoleon on the
battlefield. Was supposed to have left wife and daughter in
Scotland according to his Will. Cannot find any trace of
Henry Brotherstone URQUHART in Scotland! Anyone out there
able to help me. I feel that if it is correct and he was
in that "job/position", left England after King George III
died ?c. 1822. to Quebec City Canada. Thanks in advance for
any help.
