Looking for information on the following:
Keith Screaton, Bonkeye, serving with 1st Battalion The Light Infantry during the 80s. Attended his wedding in the Nailsea area during 86, he married Pearl. Came from the North East. We drank a lot in Kirkham, stationed at Weeton Camp. We were together when I my wife
Jill, would be about 42 now, from Streatham, London, met her in the surf at Broadstairs in 1974. She was on holiday in Broadstairs in 1975 but I had joined the army and missed her by a week. I know she had a brother. Is she still around?
I joined the army and trained at the Infantry Junior Leaders Battalion, Shorncliffe IN 1975/76. When we passed out in 76 we were told we were the largest passing out parade ever. Does anyone know of any reunions of ex IJLB Shorncliffe. If ytou do let me know. If there isn't one why not. I was with the only platoon at the time that represented one regiment - staff and recruit - Wellington Platoon - Light Infantry
