LOOKING FOR AVERY'S. Please help. I am trying to research my family tree, with little success. My GGfather was called Elijah Avery, he was born in LITTLE FARRINGDON, OXFORD. He married Alice (nee WILLIAMS), they had 3 children, Leslie (JIM), my Gfather, Joseph and Beatrice (rose), married name GRIFFITHS. They lived in FAIRFORD, BIBURY,LECHLADE,COTSWOLDS areas and LEICESTER. Elijah died in PATERNOSTA HOUSE, CIRENCESTER (the old workhouse). Elijah fought in the 1st world war, his trade was as a thatcher after the war. My Gfather fought in 2nd world war (paras and S.B.S), as did his brother Jo. My Gfather married PEGGY LE FEUVRE,
