I am looking for my biological father whos name was in 1988 Eric Platts. I imagine him to be roughly 42 as this is my mothers age. Also in 1988 his occupation was either a kitchen or an office fitter.him and my mother (Jayne Church-42) seperated when i was born and as a result of this my mum moved to Torquay to live with her mum, my nan Betty, and that was the last my mum ever seen or heard of him.He is also the father to my older brother Kevin Hills now 19 and in 1988 we were his only children. i would love to meet him to know who my real father is. If he is reading this a clue for him may be that Kevin had dark hair and i had blonde hair. Seems like an odd place to start, but I wouldn't know where to start when asking my mum... Anyway, I'm looking for my dad. I know absolutely nothing about him. He might not even be alive anymore... My name's Claire Huntington and I was born on the 6th July 1980 in Mexborough hospital, South Yorkshire. I lived with my mum (Wendy Huntington, born 27th December 1957) and my grandparents (Phyllis and Jack Huntington, born in 1929) until I was 18 in a village called Goldthorpe. My mum attended Dearneside comprehensive school then went on to Barnsley Tech to become a typist, she then worked for Barnsley council and eventually went to work for Doncaster Council, which is where she works now. My grandad was the well known milkman in the area, if that helps. I went to university to be come a teacher, which is what my job is now and I've now lived in Essex for 2 yrs. I don't know what my dad's name is, I don't know a single thing. I know that my birth certificate just has a line struck through the father section, which upset me when I saw it. My mum has 3 brothers (David, John and Barry) nad 1 sister (Katherine - Kathy). I'm hoping that someone might reckonise the details that I've added and can possibly help me in my search. Any bit of information that you think might be of help I'd be really pleased to receive. If not then I'll have to think of a way of getting some questions to my mum, which I think is harder than actually putting a message on here.... Hope to hear from someone soon.... Claire x! Reply to this message   rosanne Canada Aug 11, 2005 I am looking for info on my GGGG Grandmother Susannah Scott(nee Walker) who was born in 1816 at Halifax,Yorkshire, England. The 1881 England census states that she was living at 77 Pellon Place in Halifax and was listed as a widow. She was married to James Scott born in 1812 in Scotland, and had children named Anna Maria, Mary S,Walter, and George Hitchen Scott. If anyone has any link to these people I would be sooo happy. My father, Justo "Guy" Chavez was deployed to Dorset, England in May of 1944 when Philip was conceived. Dad was wounded in action July of 1944 in France. Philip may have gotten married in the summer of 1965 and may have become a Liverpool Policeman. If anyone knows of a Philip who fits this profile, please contact me. Her name was Dorrie Rosina Allcroft (formally Gallimore) nee LLoyd. She died on 11/6/1962 at 18 Roberts Rd, Salisbury. I am trying to trace the two girls she had with her second marriage. My James's father was Paul Hinchy, wife Louisa Teresa Odber. His father was James Hinchy, wife Ann Mathews. I thank you for any information you may have. Joseph Quintrell, born about 1847 and Ann ( Annie ) Sowden, also born about 1847. They came to the US ( PA.)before 1870,when they first showed up in the census for Allegheny County, Pa.. Annie's parents were James Sowden and Katherine Richards.I don't have any information for Joseph Quintrell. I think they were form Cornwall, this could be wrong. Thanks, Linda G.
