Can someone look up a birth register in Ireland that is not available through the LDS records? It is the 1890 Birth Register, Volume 2, pg 297 & 298. The entries are for a James Duddy & John Duddy. They may be my grandfather's brothers. the parents would be John Duddy & Ellen Kelly of County Tyrone. I have seen only the index so I don't know if they match this information. If they match, can you let me know how to get copies?

Thanks,

Lorna Duddy Olivo

I am looking for COLIN MCCARNEY. We met while he was on holiday in Dallas, Texas USA in 1984. We were together for a few short weeks, but I have never forgotten him even if it has been almost 20 years. Someone out there must know him or his sister Paulene or a brother James. His family was in the antique furniture business. Now I realize that it has been a long time and many things can change over the years, but I do not want to intrude on his life, I just wanted to re-connect somehow. I have never forgotten. Any information would help, even if he does not wish to re-connect, then at least I would stop wondering.
Peace to all. Triva

For the attention of any Dubliners that might be reading this:

Left Ireland yesterday (17th August 2003)from Rosslare Ferryport but before leaving my friends and I met a lovely Irish guy from Dublin called Elton. I can't remember his surname (it was something very Greek!) and I know this is a total shot in the dark!!! If there's anyone who knows of an Elton who is probably around 22-25 years old, is really into motorbike racing and has spent 8 years living in Dublin (before that he lived in Greece), please get in touch if you know how we can make contact with him. We had to leave in a bit of a hurry and so I completely forgot to swap contact details! Because we got on so well it would be great to somehow get in touch again.

Thank-you!

I am trying to put together my family tree and I have come to a dead end.
My great grandfather was Richard Mchale born a Catholic in Ireland, Foxford, co Mayo, parish Toomore, I think in about 1863.
He moved to England and married Julia (I think Mulvany but not sure of the correct spelling)she was a widow other married surname Wells. She was born in Rochdale.
They lived in Todmorden.
I need to find out his parents details and any more information so I can continue.
Can anyone help please.
Thank you Linda
