I found your site while surfing and thank you for the opportunity to add my message.

I am trying to locate anyone who has any information about

Elizabeth Matilda Beattie born 1861
Parson Bridge Bolton Cumberland
married
John Haughan Taylor born 1861
Parson Bridge Bolton Cumberland
occupation Coal Miner
on the 15-11-1883 both ages 22 years old.
They had a son named William born 1884 and a daughter named Polly born 1975.

Would like to trace the parents of John Haughan Taylor

I was told a witness on John Taylor's birth notice was William Haughan.

Or any information about William Beattie, father of Elizabeth and the name
of her Mother.

Thank you

I am looking for a Norma Hamby that posted a message on a board that stated that she had the Hamby coat of arms. She said that she was in East Lancastershire. I would love to get in touch with her to get a copy of that coat of arms and ask about the Hamby monument in a church close to her.
