Searching for info on PATERSON. William PATERSON married Margaret GARDEN on 5.9.1839 in St Nicholas, Aberdeen. They had Margaret Jamieson Paterson 25.7.1840 and William Paterson 17.7.1842. Margaret GARDEN then had an illegitimate daughter - Mary Martin - to James MARTIN in 1850. She was my Great Grandmother.
Would love to find out when and where William PATERSON died. I am, of course, presuming that he died prior to Mary Martin's birth, but can't find any reference to him. Of course, ANY info. regarding the above would be very helpful. Regards AJ
