MCINTOSH, Colin (1st)bc 1800 d bet 1841-1851 m Anne/Ann Gray/Grey (bc1800)in Knockbain 1819. Their children were Thomas b 1825, John b 1826, Colin (2nd) b 1828, Janet b 1833, Donald b 1836, Charles b (?Inverness) 1837, and Margaret b 1839 Killearnan. I only have some details of Colin and most of the history of Charles and NEED SOME HELP WITH THE OTHERS. COLIN (2nd) m Mary LATHAM, migrated to Australia in 1854 followed by Charles in 1856. He and Mary later left for USA, settled in Utah and became Mormans. They had a son Colin (3rd). This information on Colin is from family history and has not been verified. HAVE HAD BEEN ABLE TO TRACE THIS FAMILY IN USA. CHARLES m Margaret Grant in Campbelltown in NSW, Australia on 1959. They had a large family and I have most of their descendants with other details. Their mother Anne/Ann (nee Gray/Grey) was recorded as living in Newtown Valley , near Inverness when they left Scotland. It seems that most the family was at Muntown for the 1841 Census. The family believe that they were living about 15 miles over the hills from Fortrose for a period.
