CONNELL or (O'CONNELL)
I am looking for any information on my gg grandparents:
JAMES EDWARD CONNELL(or O'CONNELL?), born in ? Ireland, on
03/19/1837. He immigrated to the USA in ? . His citizenship
papers were signed in Hamilton City,(Cinncinatti)Ohio on
10/08/1842. He married CASSANDRA MAY THOMPSON(or THOMSON?),
born on 09/24/1840 in England, who lived in Atlanta GA and
Cinncinatti. Both are buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in Atlanta
GA. They had six children: MARY; CATHERINE; ALICE LORETTA;
ISABELLE MARGERETTE--my grandmother who married THOMAS ABRAHAM
PRIM of Atlanta GA; JEANETTE; and ROBERT.

I am also looking for information on the parents(my
ggg grandparents) of JAMES EDWARD CONNELL and
CASSANDRA MAY THOMPSON. I have no information on JAMES
EDWARD CONNELL's parents, but assume the verbal info that
they were from Ireland.

CASSANDRA MAY THOMPSON was the daughter of THOMAS THOMPSON
and ANNE (ANNIE or AGNES) LIVINGSTON(E), both of England.
CASSANDRA had two younger sisters, ISABELLA and ALICE, and
a younger brother JAMES THOMPSON, all of which were born in
England. ANNE LIVINSTON(E) returned to England to take care
of an estate just prior to, or during the Civil War, at which
time she was in early mid-life pregnancy. She died while
giving birth to a son ROBERT LIVINGSTON(E)THOMPSON, who remained
in England, and was raised by relatives Surname ?). Family
contact with ROBERT LIVINGSTON(E)THOMPSON and with relatives
raising him was lost over the years. Verbal info is that
ANNE was the daughter of a physician. I have no info on
the parents of THOMAS THOMPSON.

THOMAS THOMPSON, from England, was accidently killed in
Atlanta GA on 07/01/1863 while teaching ladies how
to defend themselves from the enemy prior to the Atlanta
Civil War Fire. His guestimated age at death is recorded
as 46. He is also buried in Oaklawn Cemeteryin Atlanta GA.
CASSANDRA MAY THOMPSON CONNELL raised the younger siblings.

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
