My name is Paul Field, and I was an Adoptee born in Kingston, London, England, and grew up on the Isle of
Wight.
I went to Wroxall Primary, Ventnor Middle
and Sandown High Schools.
When I left school, I went to work for Videotron Cable TV, on West Quay Rd,
in Southampton.
I also worked for GEC Avery, now known as Avery Berkel, before moving to the United States in January of
1994,
where I met my wife, Denise (pictured above), and had my daughter, Kaitlyn.
In the U.S., I have worked as a consultant for America Online, RHI Consulting, Lipton, Database America,
AT&T
Wireless,
U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Customs, Best Foods, MBNA, Custom Video Productions and Computer
Associates.
I am currently the network administrator for a Fortune 500 company.
I also run my own Computer Security consulting business.
I recently had to opportunity to visit the set
of my favourite soap, EastEnders.
You can see that visit on EastEnders Revealed, episode 5, on BBC
Choice in Europe.
Other websites I maintain include The Walford Gazette,
the U.S.'s EastEnders fan newspaper.
This site was started to help make the lives of Adoptees (and birth parents) who are searching easier.
I remember some of the resources I needed during my search, and am now trying to make as
many of them easily available for fellow searchers. That is where the idea for this site came from.
I hope you enjoy using the site, as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
Suggestions for improvements are always welcome.
