seaching for James Hamilton d.o.b Feb.28/1967. Fathers name William Pettigrew Hamilton, mother Jean Cameron Hamilton nee Mackenzie. James was born at Ayrshire central hospital, parents split when he was a baby. Father was from Ardrossan, mother from Saltcoats I think and I also think she remarried to a Mr Brice/Bryce? James your Father wants you to get in touch with him, please can anyone give me help or even James himself, I am an Aunt of his but never met him. Urgent!!!!!

My grandfather was George Robert Campbell, b27.11.1899 in Ayr. His father, Fergus Harvey Campbell, married Mary Birrell in 1897. I'm looking to research back earlier than that and would appreciate any info.

I'm looking for my father's side the the family. His name is: Samual Lawrence Butchart, he was born Febuary 7, 1888 in Montrose, Scotland. His mother's name is: Agnes (Sherret)Butchart. Father's name is unknown.He is one of fourteen children. There was three brother's, plus him who came to the United States.One was Andrew Butchart.My grandfather didn't talk much about his family in Scotland. Any information would be helpfull.

A brother and a sister of my grandmother are thought to have left Scotland 1895-1900 to settle in the U.S. or Canada. Agnes FORRESTER b. 1867 in Kilmarnock, m. Robert McGeachie at Kilmarnock in 1890. I can find no more of them in Scotland. David Bowman FORRESTER, b. Kilmarnock in 1870. m. Hannah Douglas Brown in Kilmarnock in 1890. Four children were born to this couple: Helen Douglas Forrester, Jane McLintock Forrester, David Bowman Forrester, and Janet Cook Forrester. I would dearly love to be able to make contact with descendants of these people.
