I am searching for my father. I believe his name was OSKAR and he was Swedish, but I do not have a surname (possibly PEARSON or PERSSON). My mother's name was ELLEN MIRIAM NEWMAN who lived in Handsworth, Birmingham. I was born in July 1945 in Handsworth. I understand that he married (someone else) and went to live in Canada for a time. He returned to England because he worked at Lewis's in Birmingham as a chiropodist during the 1950's. The only other information that I have is that he had previously been a dentist but was unable to practise in England. Can anybody help me?
