POWs ITALY : I hope to contact some of the ex-Prisoners of War my family helped in Northern Italy in 1943/44 ( The Dall'Arda Family, Castell'Arquato, PC ). Allied soldiers were released on the Armistice of September 1943 from local camps including PG 49 Fontanellato, 29 Veano and 55 Busseto; many reached Switzerland or Allied lines. I would be very pleased to hear from ex-POWs in the Parma / Piacenza area or their relatives, or from anyone with knowledge of escapees in this area.
