Please can anyone help. I am trying to find my mothers mum for her (my natural grandmother)the person i am trying to trace is Dorothy Ann Gilbert that was her maiden name dorothy lived at harbour cove padstow cornwall, she had a daughter at plain an gwarry Redruth on the 17th november 1941, we believe that dorothy's father was a policeman. we are not to sure on the father of the baby (Patrica) we think he was an american GI. the adoption took place at penwith magistrates court in cornwall, if anyone can help i would be truely greatful thanks
