I am trying to find my sister who was born on 28th October 1945 at St Alfeges hospital in Greenwich, London. Her birth certificate registers her name as KAY SEARLE but she could also be known as KAY WILSON or KAY HOWARD. Her mother,born on 20th April 1921 to Alfred Howard and Susan Ada, was christened as Joan Howard. She married Albert Searle in 1940 and divorced him in 1947. Your father is given as Arthur William Searle on the birth certificate but could well be Arthur William Wilson. Joan married Arthur in 1949.
If any lady out there is an adoptee and has the birth date of 28th October 1945 then you could well be the missing sister that I am looking for. I have the same mother and father and was adopted in 1948 and have discovered most, if not all, of the large Howard/Searle/Wilson family by using information readily available at the Public Records Office.
