My name is EILEEN JACKSON, birth name BROWN. I was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in November 1942. My mother's name was ISABELLA MARY BROWN , born 29.9.1918. My father is unknown. She was a farm worker who lived in Shilbottle, Northumberland. She also had a younger sister, named Margaret. I was placed in care in various places in Northumberland and adopted in the 1950s. I have recently discovered that I have a brother named. at birth, DOUGLAS BROWN, born 2.10.46 and a sister, MAUREEN BROWN, born 26.2.45.
