I'm looking for my paternal, biological grandfather, Derek Kirton. He married Sheila Bridgen of Whittington, Staffordshire in 1949. They had 2 children, Robert John (Nov. 10, 1949) and Lorraine. They divorced a few years later and Sheila remarried. Her new husband, Edward Butler, adopted the 2 children and the birth father was never heard from. I estimate his age to be between 70 and 75 if he is still alive. I believe he remarried and went on to have more children. I have been to www.192.com and gleaned all possible information. I have found 6 Derek Kirtons. I have their addresses, phone numbers, and the names of the other residents at the same address. I don't want to write to all of them if I don't have to and seem to have reached the end of what I can accomplish myself over the internet.
If there is anyone out there that has information that could help me in my search it would be greatly appreciated.
I do not want to get involved with anyone that will cost me a lot of money so if you're in it for this reason please do not contact me.
